The ‘YM! Friends’ plugin allow you display friend list from Yahoo Messenger. It gets info from your Yahoo Address Book and store cached data on your site. It can get current avatar of your friend. You can chat with them by clicking on those avatars.

Installation Guide for Wordpress:
- Download the zip file, unzip it, and copy the YM_friend folder to your plugin directory (\wp-content\plugins\).
- Login to admin control of WordPress, and activate it from your plugin panel.
- Go to http://address.yahoo.com/ and login with yahoo account. Next, click on Tool menu, choose Export…, then click on Export Now button of Yahoo! CSV. Save file yahoo_ab.csv and rename it with yahoo.csv
- Create cache folder in root folder of Wordpress, set full permission 777.
- Copy yahoo.csv to \wp-content\plugins\YM_friend\
- Go to Appearance -> Widgets, add YM! Friends on slide bar and modify its configuration. Final, click Save to create cache file.
- Finish!
